About Us
Welcome to the Mind Expanders Club!
Step into a world where science meets imagination, and every envelope holds a new adventure…
We’re a curious bunch of explorers, led by two wildly wonderful scientists—Professor Ignatius Whitley, a slightly scatterbrained genius with a fondness for jungle maps and mathematical puzzles, and Professor Poppy Marlowe, an animal-loving biologist with mud on her boots and a lemur in her backpack. Together, they travel the globe uncovering nature’s secrets, ancient mysteries, and scientific wonders.
Each month, your mailbox transforms into a launchpad for discovery. Inside, you’ll find beautifully illustrated letters from the Professors, packed with tales from remote corners of the Earth, real scientific facts, astonishing creatures, and playful experiments. There’s always something to decode, investigate, or create.
Our mission?
To spark curiosity, expand young minds, and prove that learning is the greatest adventure of all.
Whether you’re deciphering an ancient water system in Sri Lanka with Professor Whitley, or trekking through Arctic ice floes in search of narwhals with Professor Marlowe—each letter invites children aged 6–12 (and their grown-up companions!) into a world of wonder.
A Note from the Founder
Hi, I’m Chantelle—homeschooling mama to three endlessly curious kids, and the creator of the Mind Expanders Club.
This little idea was born around my kitchen table, with globe-trotting maps spread out beside cups of cocoa, and questions like “What’s the coldest desert?” or “How do fireflies glow?” buzzing around the room.
As a firm believer in Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of offering children a living feast—rich, real, and deeply engaging—I wanted to create something that felt like a living book in letter form. These aren’t just educational notes; they’re invitations into far-off lands, friendships with quirky scientists, and sparks for wild, wonderful thinking.
It’s learning through story, through wonder, through connection.
If your child loves mysteries, maps, animals, or simply asking “why?”—they’re going to feel right at home here.
Thank you for joining us on this extraordinary expedition. I can’t wait to see where your child’s curiosity will take them.
Warmly,
Chantelle
